How to travel to Phuket?

When visiting Phuket you will arrive at Phuket International Airport.

Some flights bound for Phuket or Pattaya will land at Suvarnabhumi Airport. If you are on one of these flights, you will transit through the airport and board a domestic flight to your destination.

Bangkok to Phuket by Bus



The cheapest way to reach Phuket is to travel by bus. However, it can take up to 16 hours, making this the longest way to travel. Although second-class buses are great, it might be a good idea to consider a VIP bus operated by Phuket Travel or Express Bus.


How many days in Phuket is enough?

Phuket has a lot to do, and you can easily spend as much time as you want. The ideal time to enjoy its various islands, culture, food and nightlife would be seven days, but if you are hard-pressed on time and want to enjoy the highlights of Phuket, four days are enough


Best time to visit Phuket?



The best time to visit is between December and March when the weather is most settled. The hottest month of the year is March with an average daily maximum of 35 C and an average low of 25 C. The coolest month of the year is September with an average daily maximum of 31 C and an average low of 24 C

Where is the main nightlife in Phuket?


One of the top nightlife spots in the country is 
Bangla Road, located in the beach resort town of Patong in Phuket Province. As one of the biggest attractions in Patong, Bangla Road is also sometimes known as Patong Walking Street.


Bangla Road is one of the busiest streets in Phuket full of bars, night clubs and sex clubs. This is my first trip to Thailand


Bangla Road is now mostly known as Bangla Walking Street or even Thanon Bangla, and for many decades has been the notorious heart of all Phuket nightlife. The battle for night supremacy rages every night between beer bars, live music bars, rooftop bars, nightclubs and, of course, those famous go-go bars

  • Don't ride elephants.
  • Don't take Buddha images out of the country.
  • Don't feed the fish!
